The Woodruff Times spoke to Chief Ryan at the scene this afternoon.
At approximately 2:30 PM this afternoon, the north Main Street Branch of Arthur Sate Bank was robbed. The suspect was described as a white male individual who handed the teller a note demanding money. While no weapon was presented, the teller noticed a bulge that may have been a weapon.
The suspect entered the bank from the rear entrance where his vehicle was parked in the bank parking lot. He took the money from the teller (at this point an undetermined amount) and fled in a red four door vehicle. A further description of both the robber and vehicle will be obtained from bank security tapes.
A press release will be sent later to all parties dealing with the Woodruff Police Department by Chief Greg Ryan.
