The building that once housed Mr. Jalapeno on Main Street in Woodruff now has a new occupant, The Right Place Bar & Lounge.
Owner Victor Juarez decided on this location because of the love of the Woodruff community and the closeness of the community.
“We thought it would be great to provide a bar type lounge where people from all walks of life can come and enjoy an evening of adult friendly games and conversations,” said Juarez.
The Right Place features a full bar with the purpose of creating the best cocktails in town and an open patio for patrons to sit back, relax and enjoy the ambience. It will also offer a variety of entertainment including karaoke, dancing and cornhole tournaments. At press time, cornhole is currently played on Wednesday evenings.
“We offer specials and are in the process of creating some special events for our town,” said Juarez. But he encourages the community to share ideas with him that they would like to see happen at The Right Place.
Woodruff residents have been awaiting the opening of this new bar since the City of Woodruff announced it was in the works back in February. The Right Place finally opened on Aug. 7.
The Right Place Bar & Lounge is located at 807 N. Main St. It’s open Wednesday through Saturdays 4 – 11 p.m. Follow them on Facebook for specials and the cornhole schedule.
