Woodruff Police Investigating After Marijuana Seized

Woodruff Police are investigating a drug operation following the seizure of nearly 27 pounds of marijuana during a call earlier today.

Police were called to a domestic disturbance, which led to officers securing a search warrant for the premises. During their search, police found the marijuana.

Chief Greg Ryan said the incident is an ongoing investigation so details regarding arrests and location of the incident are being withheld at this time. He did confirm that arrests have been made but did not provide further information.

Chief Ryan indicated that Duncan police provided a K-9 unit to assist in the search.
