The new Bojangles located at 710 N. Main Street Woodruff will open March 3. Hours are 5:30 am-10:00 pm seven days a week.
The owner, Jeff Rigsby, lived in Woodruff while he was the Director of Operations for Bojangles, South Carolina, and part of North Carolina, from approximately 1988 to 2001. Rigsby said he had always wanted to bring a Bojangles to Woodruff, and he took the opportunity when it presented itself.
When he left Woodruff, he moved to Boiling Springs, which is when he purchased his first six Bojangles in Asheville, North Carolina. He now is the owner of Bojangles of Western North Carolina with 92 Bojangles under its umbrella. Rigsby says he will be opening another 45 Bojangles locations over the next seven years in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Columbus, Ohio.
Rigsby is also big in giving back to the community. While living in Woodruff, he worked with Boy Scouts Troop 21, local churches, and schools and continues to be involved today.
The Woodruff location will have dine-in and drive-thru services available with the full Bojangles’ menu.
The first 100 customers tomorrow will receive promotional cards valued from one to twenty dollars off.
