Major General Milford H. Beagle Jr. has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General. He will transition from his leadership post at Fort Drum in NY to take command of the Combined Arms Center at Fort Leavenworth in Kansas. No date has been set regarding the change of command. He and his wife Pam are excited about the promotion but note the move will be bittersweet as they love the Fort Drum community as hard as they have loved every community that has been blessed with their leadership.
Major General Beagle is a graduate of Woodruff High School and S.C. State University. The Woodruff and Enoree communities continue to be inspired by his leadership and example.
