Women Designed for Purpose is a ministry I started when dealing with stage four Colon Cancer. As I was going to my different treatments and seeing how God brought me out, I wanted to tell my story so people could see what he did for me and know whatever they go through, he will do it for them.
Many times in life, people let their sickness take control of them. I want to be that one that ladies can come to and ask questions and let me help them get through it. As I grew stronger and started asking God to order my steps, he started doing some things in my life. He spoke life back in me, and that’s when he said you have to tell your story to help others. So, with my pen and paper, I started writing things down as God gave them to me. It took me a long time before I finally birthed my ministry, but I did it. I wanted to reach out to everybody but first, he said focus on the women and young ladies that are broken and need help getting their life back.
I want everybody to know, no matter the sex, race, or gender, that hears my story and sees what God has done for me, he can do for them. I want women to find what’s keeping them from getting what God has for them. Everyone has a purpose and sometimes just needs a little push. I want to be that little push.
I want to build and organize women who are not afraid to tell the world their story. I hope this will start women to spend more time together and share different visions for their lives. I want to create a team that can travel the world telling our story about the goodness of Jesus. I want to show women how to live according to the hope that God has prepared for believers inside and outside of the church.
People can get involved in this movement by contacting me. There are different ways in which anyone can help. All help and ideas will be greatly appreciated. I am really interested in ideas to help plan events like a cancer walk, cookout in the park, and fashion show for cancer survivors. I also want help planning fundraisers, so we have the resources to help others when needed.
