The Woodruff Planning Commission approved three items at its March meeting, advancing two zoning requests and a final development plan to the city council.

The Commission approved a request to zone 36.28 acres on Highway 101 at Arnold Branch Road to I-2 heavy industrial. The property is slated for annexation, and the owner is requesting the zoning for the future development of future industrial projects on the site.

Also approved was a request to rezone a small parcel at 162 Wofford Street, near Church Street, from R-1 single family to R-2A single family. The rezoning allows for the development of a duplex on the site.

Finally, the Commission approved the final development plan for a housing development on Snowmill Road.
All items will be sent to the city council for consideration at their March 28 meeting.
