$2.8 Billion Investment Brings High-Tech Jobs to Spartanburg County

NorthMark Strategies has announced a major $2.8 billion investment to establish a high-performance computing center in Spartanburg County. The cutting-edge facility will be located at 4000 South Pine Street in a repurposed Kohler plant and is expected to create at least 27 permanent jobs.

The center will support advanced computing functions such as machine learning, data analytics, and systems modeling, and will feature on-site power generation to reduce demand on the local grid. Operations are scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2026, with further development planned in phases.
