The Woodruff Times has been officially approved by the South Carolina Department of Revenue (SCDOR) to publish public notices for individuals and businesses applying for alcoholic beverage licenses or permits in Spartanburg County.
This recognition, confirmed by Perry Mathis, Administrator of Alcohol Beverage Licensing for the SCDOR, allows The Woodruff Times to serve as a legal publication for applicants fulfilling state-mandated notice requirements as part of the licensing process.
“While it may take several weeks or longer for the publication to appear in the ABL-901 Instructions, this approval is effective immediately. Applicants may refer to this letter if any questions arise in the meantime,” said Mathis in the letter of approval given to The Woodruff Times.
This designation is a significant step for The Woodruff Times, expanding its role as a trusted local news source and enhancing its service to the community and local business owners.
