City of Woodruff Building Department Report – March 2025 Summary

The City of Woodruff saw continued residential growth in March 2025, according to the latest report from the Building Department. A total of 57 permits were issued during the month, reflecting a strong pace of development across both new construction and improvements.

Key Highlights:
Residential Construction Dominated: The majority of permits were for new residential buildings, particularly in growing neighborhoods like Pierett Circle, Old Magnolia Lane, Slades Street, and Gracie Drive.

Commercial Projects: Notable commercial activity included building permit by KDM Signs on Snowmill Road and roofing work at 535 Laurens Road by Baker Roofing Company.

Other Improvements:
Several roof replacements and mechanical and electrical upgrades were recorded across both residential and commercial properties.

Site Work & Infrastructure: Dale Sumner Construction began site work on Posey Street, and a commercial plumbing permit was issued for 467 Cross Anchor Road.

Additional Permits:
A swimming pool permit was granted on Pierett Circle, and a demolition permit was finalized for a residence on Woodruff Street.
