April 2025 Building Report for public awareness:

The City of Woodruff Building Department issued a total of 67 permits during April 2025. These permits reflect continued residential growth and moderate commercial development across the city.
Highlights:
Residential Construction Booms:
A majority of the permits were for new residential builds, particularly in developing neighborhoods such as Lee’s Corner Lane, Irish Vine Walk, Slades Street, Harben Drive, and Snowmill Road. SK Builders, Inc. continues to play a leading role in Woodruff’s housing expansion.
Commercial Activity:
Notable commercial permits included projects for Smash Ink Design, Inc. at 114 N Main Street, The Holler Boutique at 121 S Main Street, and Roebuck Buildings Co., Inc. at 517 Cross Anchor Road. Papa John’s also pulled a permit at 900 N Main Street.
Specialty Permits:
The department issued several permits for roofing, electrical, mechanical, and fire safety updates. Plug Power, Inc. and Anderson Power Services were among those granted electrical permits, while All Roofing Materials LLC handled commercial roofing at Medical Center Drive.
Demolition Activity:
One demolition permit was issued for a residential structure at 408 S Main Street by Lamb’s Heating & Air Conditioning.
As construction and renovation remain strong in the city, residents can expect continued development in housing and retail.
