WOODRUFF — As the November 4, 2025, nonpartisan general election approaches, the race for the Spartanburg County School District Four Board is taking shape with seven candidates officially filing to run. Each candidate resides within the district but represents various areas across the region, reflecting the broad community interest in the future of local public education.
The candidates include Tony R. Davis and Rhonda Sumner, both from Enoree; W. Ted Harrison, Jr., Jay C. Phillips, Morgan C. Smith, and Nick Sugalski, all from Woodruff; Phillip Hembree of Roebuck.
This election marks a significant opportunity for voters to help shape policy, leadership, and the direction of District Four’s schools at a time when educational priorities, student achievement, and school safety remain top concerns.
