Woodruff has a new spot for fresh cuts and community connection. King’s Corner Barber Shop, owned and operated by Samantha Finely, officially opened its doors just three weeks ago, and it’s already making an impression. They are located at 122 N. Main Street.

For Samantha, opening the shop has been a dream long in the making. A barber for 14 years and a master barber for the past two, she said the decision to open King’s Corner was one of the best she’s ever made. “It was just a better opportunity for me, something I’ve always wanted. So far, it’s been amazing,” she shared.

King’s Corner is more than just a place for a haircut. Samantha has created a welcoming, family-oriented space where customer care comes first. “We really try to focus on being personable and building relationships with our clients,” she explained. “We want it to be a place where families feel comfortable, where kids are welcome to hang out while their parents take turns in the chair.”

That commitment shows in the details. The shop includes a small game room in the back for kids to enjoy while they wait, and every haircut comes with a complimentary drink, water, juice, and other healthy options included.

The barbershop offers a wide range of services: men’s haircuts, traditional shaves, beard trims, and kids’ cuts, even those memorable “first haircuts.” Women’s haircuts and facial waxing (such as nose and ear waxing) are also available, making King’s Corner a one-stop shop for the whole family.

To complement their services, the shop carries a selection of grooming products, including natural beard care from the “Live Bearded” line, along with aftershaves, conditioners, and styling products.

As the shop’s name suggests, King’s Corner is personal to Samantha. “King is actually my maiden name,” she said, noting her pride in tying her family roots to her new business.

Alongside Samantha, barber Daniel Quezada also works at King’s Corner, renting a chair and offering his own services. Clients can book with either Samantha or Daniel directly through the shop’s website. Both barbers have already built a diverse and growing clientele in the short time since the shop opened.

Customers can book appointments directly through King’s Corner’s website, where all services and prices are listed. The shop also accepts walk-ins and provides a QR code inside for quick access to booking online. A loyalty program and discounts are also available for kids, military members, and veterans.

For now, Samantha said the focus is on taking things “day by day” and continuing to grow the shop. “We’ve been really blessed with the support so far,” she said. “It’s exciting to see where this can go.”
