Crispy

We at the Woodruff Times are thankful the hot steamy days of summer are behind us. We look forward to more yellow leaves falling and crisp cool breezes with yummy fall soups, pumpkins and spooky treats.
Thank you to all who have submitted recipes in our Recipe Challenge. The winners to be honored on Monday, October 20th at 6 o’clock are Faye Chaplin of Pawley’s Island for her Crispy Spiced Pecans and Nora Tindall of Spartanburg for her Asian Pear Salad.
Please enter often and join us at THE MUSE – Home of Stone Soup Storytelling, 134 South Main Street, Woodruff, SC. A little bird told us so far White Bean Chicken Chili, Vegetarian Vegetable Soup, Cornbread, and Pumpkin Spice Pound cake will be on the buffet. We usually have twenty or more dishes to share.
Bring the children, enjoy, and vote for your favorites. The tasting is free, and donations are always appreciated.
