Tory Dandy, founder of the Tory Dandy Foundation, hosted a “Day of Giving” at Tap Three, LLC on Main Street in Woodruff in honor of his late father, Arthur Lee Alexander. The foundation awarded $2,500 each to four nonprofit organizations serving Woodruff and Spartanburg County: BASIC-BASIC Babies Nonprofit Org., Project Hope Foundation, Inc., Beauty Marks for Girls, and the Institute for Youth Justice.
The organizations support youth and families through mentorship, educational enrichment, autism services, leadership development, and advocacy for young people facing adversity.

A Woodruff native, Dandy said giving back is deeply personal. “This town and its people helped shape who I am,” he said. “I believe in our youth, and through these organizations, they can connect with others who believe in them too.”
The Tory Dandy Foundation focuses on equipping youth—especially at-risk and underprivileged populations—with the tools and support needed to thrive and succeed.
