After a successful debut last year, Spring Fling is set to return to downtown Woodruff this spring, bringing a full day of vendors, food, music and family-friendly activities to the city.
The City of Woodruff announced that Spring Fling 2026 will take place Saturday, March 14, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., continuing an event that quickly became one of the city’s most well-attended community gatherings.
The festival will feature a wide variety of craft and retail vendors, along with food trucks, carnival rides, a touch-a-truck experience and live music throughout the day. Vendor booths will remain open until 6 p.m., giving attendees plenty of time to shop, eat and enjoy the entertainment.
Downtown business owners say the event has had a meaningful impact on both foot traffic and sales.
“Spring Fling is a great event for Woodruff and small businesses because it brings people in from all over the Upstate, and its timing is perfect because most people have spring fever and are ready to get out and about,” said Brandy Laney, owner of Humble Grounds. “It’s the best event Woodruff has ever pulled together for the community and small businesses.”
Ben Harrison, owner of Tap Three, echoed those sentiments, pointing to the economic benefits of hosting events downtown. “Anytime the city hosts an event downtown, our sales increase significantly,” Harrison said. “We appreciate the current administration for booking more events in the historic district than we have had in years past. Woodruff downtown is a special place and should be used as frequently as possible for the environment it provides, as well as the benefit for so many of us who have poured so much money into our downtown properties and businesses.”
Social media responses to the city’s announcement included dozens of businesses confirming applications and praising the event’s turnout in 2025.
Applications for vendors are now open. Interested vendors can apply through the city’s online form.
Spring Fling is expected to take place in downtown Woodruff, continuing the city’s efforts to draw residents and visitors into the heart of the community while supporting small businesses and local entrepreneurs.
More details, including event logistics and vendor updates, will be released as the event approaches.
