After years of steady growth, Liz’s business recently made a move driven by one simple reality: they needed more room.
“Like a lot of small businesses, we hit some growing pains,” Liz said. “The new location gives us more space and much better visibility.”
The business officially opened its doors at the new location on January 5, 2026, and the expanded space is already making a difference for both staff and clients. The office is now conveniently located close to downtown, offering easier access and a more comfortable environment.
Customers may also appreciate a practical detail they might not immediately notice, additional parking is available next door at Family Dollar, making visits a little easier during busy times of the year.
More Than Just Tax Prep
While many people think of the business primarily during tax season, Liz and her team provide much more than annual returns.
“We prepare tax returns for individuals, businesses, and corporations,” Liz explained. “We also offer payroll and bookkeeping services.”
The core services include:

• Accounting and bookkeeping
One of the most common surprises for clients is learning that payroll and accounting are available year-round.
“That’s probably the biggest thing people don’t realize we do,” Liz said.
Another key difference? They’re open all year, not just during tax season, a major benefit for businesses and individuals who need ongoing support.
As for misconceptions, Liz laughs: “People think we have a crystal ball or a direct line to the IRS. If only!”
Meet the Owner: Liz
Liz brings 38 years of experience to the business. After working for another company for seven years, she found herself at a crossroads when that business closed.
“I decided it was time to open my own place,” she said.
What keeps her motivated after nearly four decades in the industry is simple: helping people.
Liz also believes strongly in the importance of supporting local businesses. “When local businesses thrive, it helps the whole town grow.”
And one fun fact many clients may not know, Liz isn’t originally from Woodruff, though she’s become a familiar and trusted face in the community.
