Volunteers from Stone Soup Storytelling and The Woodruff Times descended upon the Woodruff Area Soup Kitchen early Monday morning, January 19th. We went in blindly and after a quick tour, we were able to jump in and help make a difference. This was an encouraging win-win situation for sure.
The recipes for the Hamburger Beef Stew, Stone Soup’s Famous Pasta Salad and the Easy Fruity Cupcakes will be featured in our Community Cookbook.
Our next tasting will be February 16th at THE MUSE 134 South Main Street, Woodruff at 6 PM. The theme is Chocolate and Romantic Dishes for a “Sweetheart Supper Showdown.” The event is free and you will be encouraged vote for your favorite dishes. Bring the children and join in the fun.
