Stone Soup Story Telling will host its February Monthly Tasting on Monday, February 16 at 6 p.m., and everyone in the community is invited to attend. This month’s theme, “Sweetheart Supper Showdown,” celebrates chocolate and romantic dishes, but organizers want to be clear: this is not a couples-only event. Friends, families, neighbors, singles—everyone is welcome to come, taste, and enjoy the evening together.
Guests are encouraged to bring a dish to share if they’d like, but it is not required. The goal of the evening is simple: good food, good company, and a relaxed gathering that brings people together in the heart of downtown Woodruff.
The tasting also supports an exciting community project. Recipes shared at the event may be featured in The Woodruff Times Community Cookbook, a collection that will highlight recipes from local residents along with the personal stories behind them. Whether it’s a favorite dessert, a special meal passed down through generations, or a dish tied to a meaningful memory, organizers hope to capture the flavors—and the stories—of Woodruff.
Those who would like to submit a recipe can do so online at:

The event will be held at MUSE 134, located at 134 S. Main Street, Woodruff, SC.
Community members are encouraged to stop by, bring a friend, and join the fun on Monday the 16th for an evening of food, connection, and local flavor.
