WOODRUFF, S.C. — The City of Woodruff announced that its public basketball court at McKinney Park is closed until further notice as renovation work begins on the popular recreational facility.
City Announces Temporary Closure
City officials shared the update in a Facebook post on March 4, informing residents that the court will remain closed while improvements are made.
Restoration Work Underway
According to the announcement, city work crews are currently working to restore the court. However, an expected completion date has not yet been provided.
Community Recreation Impacted
The basketball court is widely used by youth and families in the community and serves as a central gathering place for recreational activity.
