After submission, you’ll receive a confirmation email and an invoice. Notices typically publish in our next eligible issue unless you select a later start date or the law requires multiple weeks. We publish weekly on Thursdays.

The Woodruff Times is a weekly newspaper of general circulation in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, qualified to publish public/legal notices. Legal ads are set in 6-point type and include one affidavit of publication at no charge.

How it works:

1. Choose a Notice Type.
2. Select the start date for the publication. (Deadline for this week’s issue is Tuesday by Noon)
3. Select the Run time. (usually 3 weeks)
4. Type in your notice header.
5. Paste your Notice Text (the calculator will update your total).
6. Enter contact information.
7. There is a place for you to ad an attachment if needed and a space for you to leave notes.
8. Submit. We’ll email your confirmation and timeline.

The publication schedule begins on Thursdays, and the selected start date determines which edition your notice will appear in. Notices must be received and paid by Monday at 12:00 PM (noon) to be included in that week’s publication.

Most legal notices in South Carolina are required to run once a week for 3 consecutive weeks unless a court order or statute specifies otherwise. The final publication date will be automatically determined based on your selected Publication Start Date.
