This year’s South Carolina State Fair in Columbia will operate a little different.
In an effort to give back to the community amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, the nonprofit South Carolina State Fair will host a free, drive through fair on Tuesday, Oct. 20 and Wednesday, Oct. 21.
While rides will not be open, guests will be able to drive through the fairgrounds and experience car-friendly attractions that highlight South Carolina’s agriculture, history, art and culture.
The organization is also planning a restaurant drive through concept where guests will be able to drive into the Lexington Medical Center Fair Park to purchase their favorite fair foods.
