I will always remember this school year. The principals did roller skating because we read enough books. We had a puppet show on Zoom. We also had market day. The storytellers did magic. We learned about space, too. This year was a great year and I hope next year is even better!

One of the best memories I had this year is the time we had the Storybook Character day. It was so awesome. I dressed up as Junie B. Jones. There were a lot of characters. First, I woke up at 6:30. Then I got ready. I even sprayed my hair red. Well, really my mom did it. When I got to school there were a lot of characters like a butterfly, Dog Man, and the Princess in Black. Mrs. Gambrell and Miss Ridge dressed like Thing 1 and Thing 2. After we did our morning work, we watched the little kids’ parade. After that we did reading. Finally, it was time for us to parade! Yay! Then we did some schoolwork, had lunch, and recess. We watched the principals roller skate down the halls! It was the best day ever!

I will always remember this school year because I was voted for student council! So, Mrs. Gambrell was explaining to our class what student council was and how it was only for second graders. Then we started to vote for student council. There were two people left and those people were me and Britton. Since there were more girls than boys in our class I WON! I think all the girls voted for me since I am a girl, too. So now I am student council and I get to go out of the room sometimes to help the assistant principal move boxes, collect cans, and I even think I get to go on the stage! (I have a little…I mean a lot of stage fright!) I am so lucky that I became student council for my class. I will never forget that day!

I will always remember Market Day when me and Nathan set up our business “Tying Up Problems”. Our business was shoe tying and solving math problems. I liked that we worked together, and we got a lot of money! This school year was amazing!
