Massive Drug Bust in Campobello: Authorities Seek Fugitive

Campobello – On March 27 in a major crackdown on drug trafficking the Spartanburg County Narcotics Unit, acting on a tip, zeroed in on a shed at 185 New Bedford Church Rd., where they unearthed a veritable arsenal of narcotics and weaponry.

The search, sanctioned by a warrant, revealed an astonishing cache: over 10 kilograms of Methamphetamine, 258 grams of Cocaine, 804 grams of Heroin, and smaller quantities of Marijuana. Accompanying the drugs was a haul of $21,000 in cash and no less than 26 firearms.

However, the prime suspect, 43-year-old Trance Shane Parks, was absent during the raid. Parks, with a last known address of Frey Circle, Spartanburg, is no stranger to law enforcement, having been embroiled in around 30 court cases over two decades and currently under probation.

Charges awaiting Parks are severe, ranging from trafficking Meth, Cocaine, and Heroin, to possession of a stolen pistol and multiple counts related to illegal weapons possession. His criminal record underscores the threat he poses, especially considering his history of evading the police.

Authorities have issued an urgent appeal to the public, emphasizing that Parks should be considered armed and dangerous. The community is encouraged to report any sightings or information to the police or through anonymous channels like Crime Stoppers, with assurances of a cash reward for tips leading to his capture.

As the search for Parks continues, the safety and cooperation of the public remain paramount in bringing this fugitive to justice.
