Ms. Dorothy Young Warren was born on July 24, 1927 in Enoree, SC and lived in Woodruff, SC for part of her adult life.
In the 1980s, she moved to Spartanburg, SC where she lived until her health necessitated her to move into a nursing facility in Greer, SC in 2020. Since her childhood, Dorothy has been a faithful member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Enoree, SC and she is the oldest living member of her church family. Ms. Dorothy absolutely loves her family, her church family, and the many friends that she has made over her 97 beautiful years. She has and continues to remind her family and friends about the goodness of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. When anyone ends a conversation with her, in person or via the phone, her famous parting words to them are, “God bless you and be careful out there”. Dorothy is a precious jewel and she is loved and adored by her family and friends.
