On Saturday, March 1, 2025, the New Hope Baptist Church, Cross Anchor, SC Women’s Ministry hosted a highly successful Women’s Tea Party, attracting approximately 45 women from the local community.

The event’s theme, “What Is Your Story?” highlighted the significance of sharing personal testimonies of God’s love and goodness. Merica Dyar, Worship Leader at Joanna First Baptist Church, led the group in praise and worship music.

Raileigh Flaniken and her mother, Jamie Flaniken, delivered inspiring testimonies of faith and perseverance amidst the serious health challenges Raileigh faced. The Flaniken family also shared the heartwarming story of Raileigh’s sister, Jessie’s adoption, showcasing God’s love and providence in their lives.

Instead of ticket sales, attendees brought non-perishable food items to support New Hope’s Blessing Box, a valuable community resource providing accessible food for those in need in the community.
The event was praised for its blend of food, fellowship, praise, worship, and mission focus. Attendees departed feeling inspired and uplifted, encouraged to share their own stories of God’s goodness with others.
