The City of Woodruff issued 85 total permits during the month of October 2025, reflecting continued growth in both residential development and commercial activity.

Total permits issued: 85
Permit types included: Building, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire, Demolition, Site Work, and Commercial Plan Reviews.
Residential Growth Remains Strong
Most permits issued in October were for new residential construction, particularly in several expanding neighborhoods:
Rutledge Estates – Multiple new single-family home permits along Pretoria Drive.
Hart Townes – Several units permitted along Coltley Drive.
Craigstone – New home construction continues on Brayden Run.
Waters Farm, Harrier Pointe, Waverly Springs, Varner/Verner Station, and Neely Park also saw consistent residential building activity.
Additional residential permits covered electrical, mechanical, and plumbing work throughout the city.
Commercial Activity
Commercial permits were issued for:
New building and electrical work at 101 Navarro Drive in Hunters Ridge.
Commercial plan reviews for properties on Highway 101, North Main Street, and Cool World Drive.
Fire permits and specialty inspections for local businesses.
