On Saturday, Dec. 20, Woodruff Church of God shared the love of Jesus Christ through its annual Christmas Toy Giveaway, serving more than 500 children and families across the community. The outreach provided children the opportunity to select toys, clothing, coats, socks, and shoes, offering both joy and practical support during the holiday season.
Church leaders expressed heartfelt gratitude to the many volunteers, donors, and community partners whose generosity made the event possible. Darren and Trena McDaniel led the team in organizing and carrying out the successful outreach.
Pastor Jonathan Knight, senior pastor of Woodruff Church of God emphasized the church’s commitment to meeting both spiritual and practical needs.
“It was a joy to serve our community and bless so many families at our church campus and in the Kelly Acres community,” Pastor Knight said. “This time of year is about loving and giving. As the Bible reminds us in John 3:16, God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son.”
The annual Christmas Toy Giveaway reflects Woodruff Church of God’s ongoing mission to serve with compassion and faith beyond the holiday season. Through continued outreach, prayer, and community partnerships, the church remains dedicated to being a source of hope, encouragement, and tangible support for families throughout Woodruff and the surrounding areas.
