S.C. Senior Sports Classic Brings Adults 40+ Together Through Sport

COLUMBIA, SC – The South Carolina Senior Sports Classic (SCSSC) is pleased to announce the return of its annual senior games. The 2026 multi-sport event is scheduled to take place April 10 – May 7 at athletic venues across South Carolina. This premier event promotes a healthy, active lifestyle for adults ages 40 and older, offering recreational and competitive sports in Archery, Badminton, Basketball, Bocce, Bowling, Chair Volleyball, Corn Hole, Cycling, Golf, Pickleball, Pocket Billiards, Racquetball, 5k & 10k Run, Shuffleboard, Softball, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Track & Field and Triathlon.

Mark your calendars, online registration is from January 1 – April 1. Join athletes, fans and communities throughout South Carolina and a few from across the country for a month of competition and celebration.

This event is a testament that it’s never too late to get active and enjoy the camaraderie of competitive sports.

“Our mission is to inspire seniors to a positive self-image and enhanced quality of life through recreational fitness, socialization and community,” said a representative for the South Carolina Senior Games.

“The SCSSC encourages every South Carolinian to embrace the opportunity to create and maintain a physically, emotionally and spiritually healthy lifestyle.”

As the only South Carolina sanctioned site for the National Senior Games Association, a member of the US Olympic Committee, the SCSSC provides a unique opportunity for participants to qualify for the National Senior Games.
