Construction Begins on Woodruff Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade
Construction is underway on the City of Woodruff’s upgraded Waste Water Treatment Plant, a major infrastructure project aimed at supporting the city’s continued growth and long-term sustainability. The project is being constructed by Harper General Contractors.
$10 Million Grant Funds Phase 1 Improvements
According to Lee Bailey, City Manager, the City of Woodruff secured a $10 million grant two years ago to complete Phase 1 of the sewer plant upgrade. The funding has been instrumental in modernizing critical wastewater infrastructure to meet increasing residential and commercial demand.

Phase 1 focuses on improving treatment capacity, enhancing environmental compliance, and ensuring the system can accommodate projected growth.
