SPARTANBURG COUNTY — Fulfilling a key campaign promise, Sheriff Bill Rhyne is introducing a new approach to public engagement through a series of Community Connect events designed to strengthen relationships between law enforcement and residents.
During his campaign, Sheriff Rhyne emphasized a commitment to more direct and transparent communication with citizens. Now in office, he is putting that pledge into action.
First Community Connect Event Scheduled
The first Community Connect event is scheduled for Tuesday, April 28, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Boiling Springs Middle School. The event will include members of the sheriff’s command staff, representing divisions across the department.
In addition to listening to community concerns, residents will have the opportunity to hear directly from division leaders and receive responses to questions related to specific areas of service.
Building Trust Through Engagement
The initiative reflects a broader effort by the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office to build trust, improve transparency, and foster ongoing dialogue with the community.
