Woodruff High School Bank Fishing Team Finishes Season Strong at Triple Tree

The Woodruff bank fishing team finished their season strong at the Triple Tree Classic in Enoree on Sunday, with the top 12 anglers in points for the season competing in the four-hour event.

Woodruff’s 12 anglers caught a staggering 120 fish in four hours, an average of 30 fish per hour, while battling the heat, according to coach Ricky Edmonds.

Finishing in first place was Owen Godfrey, winning the bank angler of the year award. Finishing in second and third place, respectively, were Luke Dickard and Pierce Lynch.
