This one hit home, hard. You see, we are all on a path going somewhere. Some of us even start on the same path, but somehow, get turned around. We get “off course,” make bad choices and refuse to heed the warning signs.
God set before us good and evil, life and death, the broad path, and the narrow path. The Bible says the broad path leads to destruction, but the narrow path leads to life.
Staying on the narrow path
Stay on that narrow path that leads to life. Walk right in the middle. Sometimes if I walk too close to the edge of a path, my footing is unstable, and I accidentally get tripped up and fall.
If that’s you, come back. Get up, brush yourself off, repent and try again. Find a friend that will hold your hand and not let you go.
Walk the narrow path together. The narrow path leads to God. The narrow path gives you a life of peace and joy in the here and now.
One foot in front of the other, don’t you quit. The finish line is just ahead. Jesus is rooting for you…and so am I!
