WOODRUFF — Summer evenings in Woodruff are about to come alive once again as the City of Woodruff prepares to kick off the annual McKinney Park Soundstage Concert Series, bringing free live music, food, and community gatherings to downtown every Friday night beginning May 29.
The popular summer tradition will take place at McKinney Park from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. each Friday from May 29 through June 26, featuring a variety of musical acts designed to appeal to multiple generations of music fans.
City officials recently announced this year’s lineup, which features a wide range of musical styles throughout the five-week series.

- May 29 — The Vinyl Junkies
- June 5 — Soultown Revue
- June 12 — Randomonium

The concert series has become one of Woodruff’s signature summer events, regularly drawing families, friends, and visitors downtown for evenings filled with entertainment, fellowship, and community spirit.
Residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy the atmosphere while supporting local food vendors and downtown businesses.
The June 19 performance by The Tams is expected to draw one of the largest crowds of the season.
In recent years, the McKinney Park concerts have helped increase activity in downtown Woodruff while providing residents with a free, family-friendly entertainment option close to home. The events also create opportunities for local restaurants and businesses to benefit from additional foot traffic during the summer months.
The City of Woodruff thanked this year’s sponsors, including Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services and State Farm Insurance – Mike Livesay, for helping make the concert series possible.
Admission to all concerts is free.
