WARNING: NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY – SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK.
It caught my attention. Every single word.
Jesus: The Ultimate Lifeguard
What is a “Life Guard” anyway? One that “guards your life”, right? Right!
But I have GOOD NEWS! I know the ultimate Life Guard that is always ON DUTY. You are never on your own.
The Bible tells us Jesus is our “Parakletos”. That word means He is our helper, advocate, and comforter. Literally, “one called to assist another.”
Jesus will never leave you.
In fact, Psalm 139:8 says, “if I ascend into heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.”
Never Alone in Life’s Deepest Waters
What that means is in your best moments in life, JESUS is right there beside you.
When you go through your deepest, darkest times in life, He is there.
There is no place that is beyond the reach of Jesus.
If you do not know THIS Lifeguard, my prayer today is that you would call out to Him. Tell Him you need saving, that you are drowning.
With Jesus, you will never “swim at your own risk” again!
The ultimate Life Guard will GUARD YOUR LIFE for all your days.
