The City of Woodruff invites the community to a special Juneteenth Celebration, a three-day event honoring African American history, heritage, freedom, and culture. Taking place June 19–21 at McKinney Park Amphitheater and the City of Woodruff Auditorium, the celebration promises a weekend filled with live entertainment, fellowship, and inspiration for all ages.

The festivities will begin Friday evening with a performance by legendary R&B group The Tams from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday’s celebration kicks off at 10:00 a.m., featuring live entertainment by Cornell Green and MAD Music, along with opportunities for the community to come together in the spirit of unity and celebration. The weekend will conclude on Sunday with a powerful Gospel Explosion, with The Woodruff City Auditorium doors opening at 4:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy uplifting performances by Gospel Prophets, Christ Radicals, Rising Stars, Reggie Rocc, and Nancy and the Anointed Voices.

The City of Woodruff welcomes residents and visitors alike to gather for a memorable weekend centered around the themes of Community, Culture, and Freedom. For more information, contact the City of Woodruff Chaplain, Reverend Derrick Scurry, at 864-205-1230.
