Women Designed for Purpose to Host 4th Annual Cancer Awareness Walk
The Non-profit Organization, Women Designed for Purpose, invites the community to come together for a morning of hope, remembrance, and encouragement during its 4th Annual Cancer Awareness Walk on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 8:00 a.m., at McKinney Park in Woodruff.
The annual event serves as a powerful reminder that no one faces the battle against cancer alone. Participants will walk in honor of survivors, in memory of loved ones who have lost their fight, and in support of individuals and families currently affected by cancer.
Organizers say the event is designed to bring the community together through fellowship, inspiration, and a shared commitment to raising cancer awareness and offering hope.
Attendees can look forward to cancer survivor recognition, opportunities to honor loved ones, raffle drawings featuring prizes donated by local businesses and supporters, and a meaningful walk dedicated to healing and strength.
Raffle tickets are available for $5 each, with proceeds helping to support the organization’s cancer awareness efforts. Donations are also still being accepted, and every contribution helps make a lasting impact within the community.
Women Designed for Purpose encourages residents to invite their family and friends to participate and help make this year’s walk the most impactful one yet.
