Woodruff’s own Country Meat Center has been named a Best of South Carolina 2026 winner in the Grocery Store category.
Best of South Carolina is an annual statewide awards program presented by The Guide to South Carolina. Throughout the year, readers nominate and vote for their favorite businesses, products and services across the state. Votes are then tabulated along with editor’s picks to create a resource highlighting standout businesses in print, online and on social media.
For Country Meat Center, the recognition is especially meaningful because of the community that has supported the business year after year.
“Our Country Meat Center family is honored to receive this recognition,” said Leslie Cash of Country Meat Center. “This award belongs to our employees, local partners, our customers who continue to support us year after year and the amazing community of Woodruff.”
Cash said the business has always believed that “great food and great service bring people together” and that Country Meat Center is grateful to be part of family traditions, meals and celebrations throughout the community.
“The Country Meat Center will continue to focus on quality, great customer service and community,” Cash said. “We are blessed and grateful for this and will continue to do our best to serve Woodruff.”
