The Davis Allstate Agency in Woodruff has welcomed two new team members, Dayuna and Carmen Pineda, who will help local residents protect their homes, vehicles, families and other important parts of their lives.

Dayuna recently graduated from the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business. She said her interest in building relationships, helping people and working in sales made joining the Allstate team a natural fit.

“I enjoy serving the Woodruff community because it’s a place where relationships matter,” Dayuna said. “It’s rewarding to help local families find the right coverage while also helping them save money and feel confident that they’re protected.”

Dayuna will assist clients with auto, homeowners, renters, life and other personal insurance needs. She said one of her favorite parts of the job is helping customers find coverage that fits their individual needs while identifying available discounts and opportunities to save money.

Her advice for anyone who has not reviewed their insurance recently is to take another look at their policies.

“Coverages and rates can change over time, so reviewing your policies helps make sure you’re getting the best value while still having the protection you need,” she said.

Outside of work, Dayuna enjoys spending time with friends and family, going on walks and volunteering through her church.

Pineda brings deep local ties to the agency. Born and raised in Woodruff, she graduated from Woodruff High School in 2021 and now coaches girls’ soccer at the school.

“I love everything about this town and community,” Pineda said. “I am excited about serving here in Woodruff because these are all our people—even the people you know just because you’ve seen them in Food Lion a couple of times. There is something special about serving the community that has served you your whole life.”

Pineda will help customers with homeowners, auto, renters, landlord and other insurance needs. She said she enjoys helping people find better rates, making sure they have appropriate coverage and reassuring them that the agency will be available when they need assistance.

For residents who have not reviewed their policies recently, Pineda recommends asking two important questions: Do you know whom to call if you need help with your policy, and do you understand what coverage you have and how much protection it provides?

When she is not working, Pineda can often be found with her family or on the soccer field. She described her family as highly competitive, whether they are playing sports, cards or board games. During the spring, much of her free time is spent coaching her soccer players.

Agency owner and agent Alex Davis said the addition of Dayuna and Pineda will help the office continue providing personal, locally focused service as the Woodruff community grows.

“We are excited to welcome Dayuna and Carmen to our team. They both have a genuine desire to help people, and they understand that insurance is about more than selling a policy—it’s about listening to customers, helping them understand their coverage and being there when they need us. Carmen’s lifelong connection to Woodruff and Dayuna’s business education and relationship-focused approach will both be great assets to our agency and the community we serve.”
