Dr. Mukesh M. Gandhi, who has served patients in the Woodruff community for the past 36 years, is joining Prisma Health and will begin seeing patients at a temporary location in Duncan later this month.
Beginning Monday, August 31, Dr. Gandhi will see patients as part of Prisma Health Primary Care – Squires Point.
The temporary office will be located at:
500 Squires Pt Ste. A
Duncan, SC 29334
A future permanent Woodruff office is anticipated in 2027.
According to information provided to patients, Dr. Gandhi will continue caring for his patients as part of Prisma Health’s primary care team. His practice says the transition will provide patients with access to additional resources and support while maintaining the personal relationships that have been central to his practice.
Patients will receive additional information regarding appointments, scheduling and other details in the coming weeks.
What Current Patients Need to Know
Dr. Gandhi also provided additional information for patients who are already established with specialty providers outside of the Prisma Health network.
Those patients are not required to change specialists.
Patients who already have a specialty provider outside of Prisma may continue seeing their current provider. Joining Prisma Health will also give patients access to the health system’s larger network of providers and specialties if they choose to make a change.
Dr. Gandhi’s office says his commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care will remain unchanged during the transition.
After 36 years serving Woodruff and surrounding families, Dr. Gandhi thanked patients for their trust and said he looks forward to continuing to care for the community for years to come.
