The city’s coffee scene is growing, with Flying Fox Coffee preparing to open in downtown Woodruff, D’Cafe planning a location just a few doors away and a Dunkin’ location also in the works. The new businesses will join the Starbucks already serving the Woodruff community.

Flying Fox Coffee Coming to Downtown Woodruff

Flying Fox Coffee has leased the property at 132 S. Main St., according to a press release announcing the new downtown business.

The locally focused coffee concept is expected to provide another gathering place for residents, visitors and businesses in downtown Woodruff. An anticipated opening date and additional information about the company’s ownership and menu were not included in the announcement.

Brett Mitchell of Reedy River Retail at SVN Palmetto represented the lease transaction and worked with the parties involved to finalize the agreement.

“We’re excited to see Flying Fox Coffee become part of the continued growth and revitalization of downtown Woodruff,” Mitchell said. “Main Street continues to attract new businesses and investment, and we’re thrilled to play a role in bringing another great concept to the community.”

More Coffee Options Planned for Woodruff

Flying Fox Coffee is not the only coffee-focused business with plans for the area.

D’Cafe has also announced plans to open just a few doors away in downtown Woodruff. A new Dunkin’ location is also in the works elsewhere in the community.

Although the businesses will share a focus on coffee, each may offer a different menu, atmosphere and customer experience. Their arrival also reflects Woodruff’s continued residential and commercial growth.

Additional information will be shared as it becomes available.
