Heaven Highlighted
By Pastor Tracy Gill
I took this photograph while standing at the end of my driveway. No filters. Just the camera on my phone.
It is BREATHTAKING!
A million thoughts race through my mind, yet when I try to articulate them, I am speechless. I can’t help but look at this photo and think of our Creator, Almighty God.
The Bible tells us in Psalm 19:1:
“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.”
That means all of heaven is announcing, or making known, His glory!
The heavens referred to here are what we can see with the naked eye. And God spoke it all into existence.
We are to worship the Creator, not the creation. But that also tells me that nature itself is meant to show the greatness of God… the splendor of God… oh, and the majesty of God!
So, if nature shows the glory of God, what are we to do?
All we have to do is look up… or even look around.
God’s glory is EVERYWHERE!
Let’s make it our goal, today and every day, to make Him known to ALL!
Until next time…
Pastor Tracy
