Fall is right around the corner and you know what that means – pumpkins (spice in your coffee), apple picking, changing leaves, Halloween and scary stories. Start thinking about the tale you’re going to tell this year, because The Woodruff Times is collaborating again with Stone Soup Storytelling to host its annual Scary Story writing contest.
We will have an adult (18 years and older) and youth (younger than 18) category with one winner from each category.
How to enter:
- Write a spooky story or poem 1,000 word or less
- Submit your story using the form below
- Include your name, age, where you are from and contact information (email and phone number)
The final deadline for submissions is Friday, Sept, 18. Winners will be notified by Sept. 30.
The winning youth and adult stories will be published in the October issue of The Woodruff Times.
