Residents will have an opportunity to meet directly with Spartanburg County Sheriff Bill Rhyne and members of the Sheriff’s Office command staff during an upcoming Community Connect event in Woodruff.
The event will be held on Tuesday, June 30, at 6 p.m. at CornerStone Baptist Church in Woodruff.
Community Connect is a new initiative by the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office designed to strengthen relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve. The program brings sheriff’s office leadership into neighborhoods across Spartanburg County to provide opportunities for residents to ask questions, share concerns, and engage in meaningful conversations with local law enforcement.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the event is intended to give community members a genuine voice while allowing deputies and command staff to hear directly from residents about issues affecting their neighborhoods.
The event is free and open to the public. Residents are encouraged to attend, learn more about the Sheriff’s Office, and participate in the discussion.
For those who would like to submit questions in advance, the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office is accepting anonymous questions through its website. https://www.spartanburgsheriff.org/267/Community-Connect
