Residents of Woodruff and the surrounding communities are invited to take charge of their health at a free Community Health Fair hosted by New Prospect Baptist Church’s Missionary on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Woodruff Community Center, 116 S. Main St.
Designed to promote healthier lifestyles while connecting families with valuable local resources, the event will feature free health screenings, educational information, wellness resources and community outreach services for all ages.
Attendees will have the opportunity to receive blood pressure, cholesterol, and BMI screenings while learning about nutrition, physical activity, mental wellness, and preventive healthcare. Information on immunizations, including flu, COVID-19 and other vaccines, will also be available.
Several local organizations and healthcare professionals will be on hand to provide guidance and answer questions. In addition to health resources, guests can enjoy snacks, giveaways and opportunities to connect with organizations that provide services throughout the community.
Organizers hope the event will encourage residents to take a proactive approach to their health while strengthening community connections through education and access to care.
