WOODRUFF, S.C. — Several Woodruff-area food establishments received A grades during inspections conducted in August 2026, while two businesses that initially received B grades subsequently earned A ratings following additional inspections.
Establishments Receiving A Grades
Jersey Mike’s Subs, located at 916 N. Main St., received an A grade during its routine inspection on Aug. 24.
Papa John’s Pizza, located at 900 E. Main St., also earned an A grade during a routine inspection on Aug. 24.
The Wine Gallery, located at 220 S. Main St., received an A grade during its Aug. 6 routine inspection and another A during a follow-up inspection on Aug. 13.
Two Businesses Improve Following B Grades
Two Woodruff establishments received B grades during August but improved their ratings during follow-up inspections.
McDonald’s #34964, located at 890 N. Main St., received a B grade on Aug. 6. A follow-up inspection conducted on Aug. 13 resulted in an A grade.
Nixta Market LLC, located at 807 N. Main St., received a B grade during its Aug. 21 routine inspection. The establishment earned an A during a follow-up inspection on Aug. 31.
The follow-up results provide important context for consumers. Although McDonald’s and Nixta Market received B grades earlier in the month, both establishments subsequently achieved A ratings.
What the Grades Mean
Under South Carolina’s retail food grading system:
- Grade A: 88–100 points
- Grade B: 78–87 points
- Grade C: 77 points or fewer
