Who Made the Grade? Mauldin’s August 2026 Food Inspection Results

MAULDIN, S.C. — Mauldin restaurants and food establishments had a strong showing in August 2026, with most of the reported inspection results receiving an A grade.

South Carolina uses a risk-based food inspection system. According to the South Carolina Department of Agriculture, an A grade indicates that an establishment’s food-safety practices appeared to meet the requirements of Regulation 61-25 at the time of inspection.

Establishments Improved Following Earlier Grades

Several establishments underwent follow-up inspections during August and subsequently received A grades.

Dutch Bros Coffee received a B during an August 21 follow-up inspection before earning an A on August 28.

Ingles #42 Deli/Bakery received a B during its August 13 routine inspection and earned an A during an August 21 follow-up inspection.

Taqueria Restaurante Simon received a C during its August 14 routine inspection and earned an A the following day, August 15.

Additional B Grade Reported

Mauldin Gyros & Burgers received a B during its August 25 routine inspection.
